About Kelly Brown / ATX TV Festival

Kelly Brown is a two-time Emmy-nominated writer-producer who’s worked on everything from award shows, to soap operas to gritty dramas. Born and raised in Los Angeles, she fell in love with Austin by going to the ATX TV Festival as a two-time Pitch Competition finalist. After moving here last year, she now splits her hustle between Ridiculous Danger—the indie shingle she co-runs with writing partner David Vienna—and Jaime Pressly’s new company, Liston James Productions, whose first feature shoots this summer. If you need to find her, she’s either volunteering at her sister’s non-profit equine therapy ranch (Open My World), hanging with her blind cat, or behind her computer creating your new favorite show.
About Bambino
Bambino Austin opened in the heart of East Austin in March 2024 and is the sophomore restaurant from seasoned restaurateur and chef duo Adam Orman and Fiore Tedesco of L’Oca d’Oro. Bambino weaves together the spirit of the 80s with a grown-up sensibility–arguably bringing to life 10-year old Fiore’s vision of a pizzeria. With reverence for the integrity of the dough and ingredient sourcing overall, the pizzeria represents a culmination of Fiore’s life in food, from his start as a pre-teen shaping rolls at a cousin’s bakery through a career in fine dining–all accompanied by 30 years of making fresh mozzarella and a fidelity to excellence.
