This intimate fireside chat style conversation is hosted by our very own powerhouses, the Women in Film & Television Advisory Board. They invite an industry friend to come and talk, and give members an exclusive opportunity to listen in. After the conversation, members, host and guest will have a chance to socialize-fostering new connections, inspiring new ideas, and making new friends.
Olivia Applegate is an award-winning actress and singer originally from Texas. She received acclaim for her breakout role opposite Rooney Mara in Terrence Malick's film, Song to Song, and as a quarter finalist on America's Got Talent as a singer. She has since starred in several television series including Max's “Love & Death” (Elizabeth Olsen, Jesse Plemons), HBO’s Euphoria (Zendaya) and Bravo's Dirty John. This summer, she stars opposite John Cena, Yvonne Orji, Lil Red Howery and Meredith Hagner in the Hulu comedy “Vacation Friends 2” and has starred in high-profile indie features including Krisha (SXSW Grand Jury Prize, Cannes), Beta Test (Tribeca) and written/produced/starred in award-winning films that have swept the festival circuit. With several projects coming out this year and an upcoming album, Olivia is a multifaceted star on the rise.
