Short Bio
An award-winning Austin-based filmmaker born and raised in Mission, Texas, Melinda was raised on movie sets and theatre stages. At the tender age of seven, Marroquin appeared in her first film, "She Came to the Valley."

Melinda went on to act in several films and tv movies, but her experiences behind the camera working several crew positions made her realize her passion lay with directing and producing.
