Short Bio
Joan was born and raised on a ranch in Western Montana. She is a graduate of Carlton College with a major in Asian studies. She moved to Chicago in the late 70's, joined the Huron Theatre acting ensemble and participated in the off loop theatre renaissance that spawned most notably Steppenwolf and Remains Theater companies. Joan left Chicago to raise her family in Austin. Once the kids had fledged, Joan returned to acting. She is currently studying at the Carol Hickey Acting Studio and Represented by Collier Talent Agency.
